Are there any working Semrush promo codes?
No official ones. We checked Semrush’s trial, pricing and help pages and found no coupon field or public code. Semrush’s savings come from its trial, its free account and annual billing.
So why do so many websites list codes? Because coupon pages earn money from clicks. In the results we reviewed, about half were coupon or affiliate pages, and none showed how a code was tested, in which country, or on which plan.
Three things get mixed up on these pages, so it helps to separate them:
- Promo code: text you type at checkout. Semrush does not publish one.
- Trial link: a sign-up link that starts a free trial. Semrush’s official one is 7 days.
- Annual billing: paying for 12 months up front at a lower monthly rate. This is a real discount, but it is not a code.

How long is it?
Semrush’s official pages say 7 days. Some coupon sites claim 14 or 30 days. We could not confirm either on Semrush’s own pages, so treat longer trials as unproven unless the offer is on a semrush.com page that states the length.
Do you need a credit card?
For the free account, no. For the 7-day trial, the pages we retrieved did not state the payment rules clearly. Read the sign-up screen before you enter details, and check whether it says the trial turns into a paid plan.
How to avoid being charged
The safest habit is to cancel a day early. Here is an example for a trial starting on 10 November 2026.
- Put a reminder in your phone for day 5.
- Open your Semrush subscription settings and cancel before the trial ends. Menu names change, so follow Semrush’s current help page.
- Keep the confirmation email or screenshot.
What the free account gives you
Semrush’s help centre says the free account needs no card and includes one demo project and 10 reports a day. It suits a quick look at the tool, not regular client work.
Real ways to save on Semrush
1. Use annual billing, but check the sums
Many coupon pages promise “up to 17% off” for annual plans. We could not confirm that figure on Semrush’s own pages. Using the prices Semrush publishes for its entry plan, the saving is smaller:

2. Start with the free account
If you only need to test a few reports, the free account costs nothing and avoids any billing risk.
3. Watch official pages in sale season
If Semrush runs a seasonal offer, it will appear on its own pricing or promotion pages first. Only trust a deal you can see on a semrush.com page or at checkout.

Semrush pricing in 2026
Semrush now sells a bundled plan called Semrush One. Its help pages list three tiers, shown in US dollars:
Older articles quote “Pro $139.95” and “Guru $249.95”. Those belong to the earlier plan structure, so do not mix them with the figures above. Semrush shows prices in US dollars; we could not confirm whether UK visitors see pounds or how VAT is displayed before checkout.
Semrush Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2026
Black Friday is 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday is 30 November 2026. Semrush has not announced any offer for either date, and we found no official evidence of past deals we could safely list. Third-party pages claim discounts of “up to 50%”, but none pointed to a Semrush announcement.
Our advice: if you need Semrush now, use the free account or the 7-day trial rather than waiting for a sale that may not happen. If a sale is announced, it will appear on Semrush’s official pages and we will update this section.
Ahrefs: promo codes, free trial and discounts
Ahrefs is clear on this. Its help article, updated on 3 September 2026, says it offers no promo codes, no free trials and no seasonal sales, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Any “Ahrefs coupon” you see elsewhere is not from Ahrefs.
- Annual billing: Ahrefs says it costs almost 20% less than paying monthly.
- Ahrefs Free: permanent, limited access for website owners. It is not a trial.

SmartScout coupon code
SmartScout is the one tool here with a real public code. Its official coupon page lists SMARTSCOUT25: 25% off the first three months of any subscription. SmartScout is built for Amazon sellers, so it only suits you if that is your market.
There is no free trial. Its pricing page offers a 7-day money-back guarantee instead, which means you pay first and ask for a refund within the window.
