The best ClickMagick alternative depends on how you work. BeMob suits beginners on a budget, Voluum and RedTrack suit high-volume media buyers and agencies, Keitaro and Binom suit technical users who want to host their own tracker, and AnyTrack suits people who mainly need clean conversion data sent to ad platforms. Below you will find a quick answer table, then the facts behind each choice.
Last updated: 5 November 2026. Prices and limits come from the vendors’ own pricing and help pages. We have not run hands-on tests of these tools for this article, and vendor claims are labelled as claims.
Quick answer: which ClickMagick alternative should you pick?
| If you are… | Look at | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A beginner or on a tight budget | BeMob | Permanent free plan (100,000 events a month) and a $49 paid plan |
| A media buyer with high traffic | Voluum or RedTrack | Plans are measured in millions of events, not thousands of visitors |
| An agency needing team seats | RedTrack Team | Lists 5 users and 20 million events a month |
| Technical and want to host it yourself | Keitaro or Binom | You run it on your own server and control the data |
| Mainly feeding conversions to Meta, Google or TikTok | AnyTrack | Built around conversion data, with a free plan |
| A high-spend advertiser with long sales cycles | Hyros | Revenue attribution focus, quote-based pricing |
What ClickMagick does, and why people leave it
ClickMagick is a cloud tool that tracks clicks and conversions for affiliates and advertisers. Its official page lists first-party tracking, bot filtering, split testing, Conversions API (CAPI) support, automatic cost updates and an API with Zapier access.
People usually look elsewhere for one of five reasons:
- Volume limits. Starter covers 10,000 tracked visitors a month, and Standard covers 100,000. Busy campaigns outgrow these quickly.
- Price jumps. The next plan up costs $199 a month when billed monthly.
- Different needs. Shops and agencies often want store integrations and team seats.
- Hosting preference. Some buyers want to own their data and avoid per-event fees.
- Workflow. Some simply prefer another dashboard.
Read this first: tools count usage in different ways
This is the biggest mistake in most comparison pages. ClickMagick bills by tracked visitors. Voluum and BeMob bill by events. AnyTrack bills by sessions. These are not the same thing, so 100,000 visitors does not equal 100,000 events.
| Tool | What the plan counts | What this means |
|---|---|---|
| ClickMagick | Tracked visitors | Plan caps are small numbers (10,000 to 1,000,000) |
| Voluum | Events: visits, clicks and conversions | One visitor can create several events. Its own documents disagree on how impressions count, so check before buying |
| BeMob | Events: impressions, clicks, visits and conversions | Impressions count too, so tracking them uses your allowance |
| AnyTrack | Sessions | Based on website sessions, not redirect clicks |
Price comparison at a glance
The chart shows the cheapest paid plan from each vendor on monthly billing, in US dollars. Keitaro is left out because it charges in euros and you also pay for a server (see below). RedTrack’s figure is its crossed-out monthly list price. It advertises a lower rate on yearly billing.
The alternatives, one by one
1. BeMob: best for beginners and small budgets
BeMob is a cloud affiliate and ad tracker with postbacks, pixels, no-redirect tracking and multi-currency reports. It is the only tool here with a permanent free plan for click tracking.
| Plan | Price | Events a month | Data kept | Overage per 1,000 events |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 100,000 | 1 month | None |
| Professional | $49 | 1 million | 1 month | $0.05 |
| Business | $249 | 10 million | 3 months | $0.025 |
| Enterprise | $499 | 30 million | 6 months | $0.02 |
Watch out for: data is kept for only one month on the Free and Professional plans, and invalid-traffic metrics are listed as an Enterprise feature (lower plans pay per metric, according to BeMob’s blog). Its privacy and compliance details were not confirmed in our research.
2. Voluum: best for professional media buyers
Voluum is a long-standing cloud tracker for media buyers, affiliates and agencies. Paid events are visits, clicks and conversions. Overage is charged at the end of each billing cycle, even on yearly plans.
| Plan | Events a month | Active campaigns | Data kept | Overage per 1,000 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Profit | 1 million | 20 | 6 months | $0.06 |
| Scale | 5 million | 60 | 12 months | $0.05 |
| Start-up | 10 million | 100 | 12 months | Check live page |
Price warning: Voluum’s official pages disagree. An older page shows Profit at $119, Scale at $299 and Start-up at $539 a month on yearly billing. A newer page shows Profit at $149, Scale at $349 and Start-up at $599. Use the live pricing page as the final word. Voluum also says all plans include automatic campaign migration from an old tracker, but check that your current tool is supported.
3. RedTrack: best for agencies and teams
RedTrack is a cloud tracker that says it includes Conversion API on every plan (a vendor claim). Its plans are built around large event volumes and team seats.
| Plan | Events a month | Users | Yearly billing (per month) | Yearly total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Turnkey | 5 million | 1 | $118 | $1,420 |
| Team | 20 million | 5 | $279 | $3,352 |
| Enterprise | 75 million | 15 | $699 | $8,392 |
| Custom | 100 million+ | 25+ | Quote only | |
Watch out for: the prices above are yearly-billing rates. RedTrack shows higher crossed-out monthly prices ($169 for Turnkey and $399 for Team). A 14-day trial is reported by a third party, so confirm it at sign-up. Its exact event definition, retention and overage rules were not confirmed.
4. Keitaro: best self-hosted option with team seats
Keitaro is mostly run on your own server, which means you control the infrastructure. Its individual plans are priced in euros:
| Individual plan | Price a month | Users | Domains with SSL |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | €40 | 1 | 1 |
| Middle | €72 | 1 | 100 |
| Top | €104 | Up to 5 | 500 |
Business tiers at €200 and €400 a month also exist, but the exact limits need checking on Keitaro’s page. Plan names above are ours, so match them to Keitaro’s own labels. You must add your own server cost, and Keitaro’s hosted-versus-self-hosted boundaries and traffic limits were not fully confirmed.
5. Binom: self-hosted for high volume
Binom is another self-hosted tracker aimed at high-volume affiliates. Its price page lists a flat licence of about $149 a month, or $104 on yearly billing, with a separate cloud version at $299. Those figures came from a secondary research pass, so check them on Binom’s own price page before you rely on them. You also pay for your own server.
6. AnyTrack: best for sending conversion data to ad platforms
AnyTrack is not mainly a redirect tracker. It moves conversion data between websites, CRMs, affiliate networks and ad platforms, and bills by sessions.
| Plan | Price a month | Sessions | Websites | Overage per 1,000 sessions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 5,000 | 1 | None listed |
| Starter | $100 | 100,000 | 1 | $0.40 |
| Personal | $150 | 500,000 | 3 | $0.30 |
| Advance | $300 | 3 million | 10 | $0.20 |
Paid plans come with a 14-day trial. Starter unlocks Conversion API to seven ad platforms, and Advance includes unlimited Conversion API integrations.
7. Hyros: best for high-spend revenue attribution
Hyros is positioned for established advertisers with long sales cycles, phone sales and lifetime-value reporting. It is not a small-affiliate tool. Pricing is quote-based. One third-party page mentions “from $230 a month”, but we could not confirm that on an official page, so treat it as unverified.
Also worth checking: ClickFlare, Trackier and wecantrack appear in some comparison lists, but we did not verify their current official plans, so we have not priced them here.
Cloud or self-hosted: which should you choose?
| Factor | Cloud (ClickMagick, Voluum, RedTrack, BeMob, AnyTrack) | Self-hosted (Keitaro, Binom) |
|---|---|---|
| Setup | Quick, no server needed | You set up a server, domain and SSL |
| Upkeep | Vendor handles it | You handle updates, backups and security |
| Cost as traffic grows | Higher plans and overage fees | Licence stays flat, server cost changes |
| Data control | Vendor hosts your data | You hold the data |
| Best for | Beginners, small teams | Technical, high-volume users |
Self-hosting is not free. Besides the licence, you pay for the server, storage, bandwidth and your own time. Compliance with GDPR, UK GDPR or India’s data law still depends on how you collect and use data, not only on where it sits.
What extra fees to expect
Overage rates vary widely, and units differ, so this chart is a warning rather than a ranking. AnyTrack’s overage is charged per session, while Voluum and BeMob charge per event.
Other costs to include in your sums: extra team members, extra domains, server costs for self-hosted tools, currency conversion, card fees, and tax. Prices are shown excluding VAT or GST, which may be added at checkout depending on your billing address. We could not confirm India-specific payment methods such as UPI for any of these vendors, so ask each vendor before you subscribe.
Worked example: what would 1.5 million events cost?
Here is a simple example using the published rules. The formula is: plan price + ((your events − included events) ÷ 1,000 × overage rate). These figures are illustrations, not quotes.
| Tool and plan | Included | Maths | Estimated monthly cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| BeMob Professional | 1 million events | $49 + (500 × $0.05) | About $74 |
| Voluum Profit (monthly price) | 1 million events | $149 + (500 × $0.06) | About $179 |
| Voluum Scale (monthly price) | 5 million events | No overage | $349 |
| RedTrack Turnkey (yearly billing) | 5 million events | No overage | $118 |
| ClickMagick | Counts visitors, not events | Cannot be compared directly | Not calculable |
Voluum’s newer page is used for the Profit and Scale prices, as the older page shows lower rates. If you pay yearly, RedTrack’s monthly list price is higher, at $169 for Turnkey. Keitaro and Binom are not shown because the server bill depends on your provider.
Do link shorteners and Google Analytics replace ClickMagick?
Not really. Link shorteners such as Bitly mainly shorten and brand links. They usually lack full postback handling, cost data and campaign-level optimisation. Google Analytics 4 is good for site analytics and UTM reports, but it is not a direct substitute for redirect-based campaign tracking or affiliate postbacks. They can work as extras, not as full replacements.
Is link cloaking allowed on Google and Meta ads?
Treat it with great care. Showing ad reviewers different content from what visitors see is a method to avoid, and you should not assume cloaking is allowed. Read the current Google Ads and Meta advertising policies directly before you set up any redirect, as we did not verify their wording for this article. Ordinary tracking links that lead to the same landing page the ad describes are a different matter from deceptive cloaking.
How to switch from ClickMagick without losing data
- List every tracking link, rotator, custom domain and SSL certificate you use.
- Export reports, costs and conversion records. Do not assume the new tool can import click-level history.
- Set up the new tracking domain (DNS and SSL) and test it.
- Recreate your postback URLs for each affiliate network or offer.
- Reinstall pixels and scripts, and reconnect any Conversion API.
- Rebuild split tests, traffic rules and audience lists.
- Run both trackers side by side for a set period.
- Test a conversion from every traffic source, then switch traffic over.
- Cancel ClickMagick only after you have confirmed everything works and your data is backed up.
A five-day free-trial test plan
Independent accuracy tests are rare in this market, so run your own. This is the same careful, side-by-side approach we use in our SE Ranking vs Moz comparison. Write down the date, plan and settings for each test.
| Day | Test | What to record |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Add a custom tracking domain and check SSL | Setup time, any errors |
| 2 | Create a tracked link and send test traffic | Redirect speed, correct landing page |
| 3 | Fire a test conversion by postback or pixel | Click ID passed correctly, shown in logs |
| 4 | Send a test event through Conversion API | Appears in the platform’s test tool, no duplicates |
| 5 | Run reports and export a CSV | Detail level, export options, support response |
Bot filters need the same scepticism. ClickMagick lists basic bot filtering on its Starter plan, and Voluum and Keitaro have fraud tools, but we found no independent evidence of how well any of them work. No filter blocks every fake click.
Before you buy, think about the wider picture
A tracker only measures results, so check the channels you pay for first. Audience size matters on social platforms, and our guides to Snapchat users and Pinterest monthly active users show how big each audience is. Once leads arrive, you need somewhere to manage them, and our look at growing demand for CRM tools may help. If you sell to other companies, our piece on B2B marketing for technology companies covers wider channels. For another example of weighing two tools against each other, see Grammarly vs ChatGPT.
Where the comparison pages you find online come from
Our review of the top results for “ClickMagick alternative” found that most are written by tracking vendors or sites promoting a tracker, so their rankings lean towards their own products. That is why this article compares plans using official pages and flags anything we could not confirm.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best alternative to ClickMagick?
There is no single best one. BeMob suits low budgets, Voluum and RedTrack suit high-volume buying, Keitaro and Binom suit self-hosting, and AnyTrack suits conversion syncing.
Is there a free alternative to ClickMagick?
Yes. BeMob has a permanent free plan with 100,000 events a month. AnyTrack also has a free plan with 5,000 sessions a month.
Which alternative is cheaper than ClickMagick?
BeMob Professional costs $49 a month against ClickMagick Starter at $79. The units differ, though: BeMob counts events and ClickMagick counts tracked visitors, so compare real usage, not headline caps.
Can Google Analytics replace ClickMagick?
Not fully. GA4 handles site analytics and UTM reports but does not replace affiliate postbacks or redirect-based campaign tracking.
Is a self-hosted tracker better than a cloud tracker?
It gives you more control and a flat licence, but you manage the server, security and backups. For beginners, cloud is usually easier.
What counts as an event?
It depends on the vendor. Voluum counts visits, clicks and conversions, while BeMob also includes impressions. Always read each vendor’s definition.
Does ClickMagick filter bots?
It lists basic bot filtering on Starter. We found no independent proof of how accurate it is, so treat it as a vendor claim.
How hard is it to migrate from ClickMagick?
Links, domains, postbacks, pixels and rules all need rebuilding, so the time depends on how many campaigns you run. Run both tools in parallel before cancelling.
Final verdict
Start with your traffic, your budget and your technical skill. Choose BeMob if you are starting out, Voluum or RedTrack if you buy traffic at scale, Keitaro or Binom if you are happy to run a server, and AnyTrack if conversion data for ad platforms is your main need. Whatever you pick, compare the real counting unit, add up the full monthly cost, and re-check the live pricing page before paying.
